The “Arts, Crafts, and Volcano” day tour is an all-time classic and also the favorite among our guests. This excursion features the best of Bali in one single day. Your journey begins in the village of Batubulan with the famous “Barong & Keris” dance. Next, you’ll visit Balinese artisan villages to witness the creation of batik cloth, intricate wood carvings, and renowned Balinese paintings. Along the way, you’ll also have the opportunity to visit a temple or two before heading to Penelokan, which offers the best point of observation to the huge ancient Batur caldera.

East Bali Tour

The east bali Tour provides you with the opportunity to visit some of Bali historical sites related to the legacy of three Kingdoms (the kingdom of Klungkung, Bangli and  Karangasem). You will also get the opportunity to visit the “Bali Aga” village of Tenganan. This ancient fortified village is home to the Bali Aga, groups of Balinese tribes who resisted the Hindu-Javanese influences and traditions brought during the neighboring island’s conquest of Bali. They practice unique custom and traditional laws emphasizing on the importance of the link between the living and their ancestors as well as a balanced relationship between human beings and its sacred environment. The beauty of its
basket-weaving and rare double-ikat are highly reputed world-wide.

Rice Fields and Temples

Embark on a full day excursion which brings you the opportunity to see the most panoramic views of Bali and why this island is called the Island of a Thousand Temples. This full day tour takes you to some of the most beautiful landscapes of Bali and it’s majestic temples. A first stop is scheduled at the ancient Batu Karu temple which was founded in the 11th century. This unique sacred mountain sanctuary and royal temple of the Tabanan dynasty is situated on the foot of Mt. Batukaru and was built to venerate deities of mountains and lakes.

From this temple, the tour continues to the village of Jatiluwih. Jatiluwih is nominated for UNESCO’s World Heritage list as a world cultural heritage. Perched on a high terraced slope, jatiluwih deserves its name, which means “Truly Beautiful”.

Having enjoyed the views of Jatiluwih, you will have a lunch break at an Indonesian restaurant on the way up to your next stop, which will be thhee famous “Ulun Danu Bratan” water temple. The Balinese people rely on their rice harvest and the goddess of the water and fertility. Dewi Danu, who is the deity honoured here. After Lake Bratan, the tour continues with a visit to a nearby Banyumala Waterfall.

Uluwatu Temple & Kecak Dance

The Uluwatu Temple is one of the most spectacular Balinese temples. It is built on a cliff top of the edge of a plateau about 75 meters or 250 feet above the waves of the Indian Ocean.

Uluwatu lies at the southern tip of Bali. Dedicated to the spirits of the sea, the famous Uluwatu temple is an architectural wonder in black coral rock, beautifully designed with spectacular views. It is a popular place to enjoy the sunset.

At this temple you will have the chance to watch one of Bali’s most famous dances, The Kecak Dance.

The dance is played in five acts and lasts roughly 45 minutes. It is taken from the Hindu epic Ramayana, which tells the story of Prince Rama and his resque of Princess Sita, who has been kidnapped by the evil King of Lanka, Rahwana and somehow with the help of the white monkey army, Rama rescues his wife and defeats the evil Rahwana.

The Kecak dance is performed every day, at the sunset from 6 PM to 7 PM. After the Temple visit, enjoy the optional dinner on Jimbaran bay at one of the many Seafood restaurants.

Lempuyang Temple (Heaven’s Gate), Tirta Gangga, Volcano View Lunch, and Tukad Cepung Waterfall
